Jora brought years of civil-rights and employment-law experience to Worksafe. From the beginning, her focus was not only winning individual cases, but growing the power of workers and the organizations beside them.

In a Worksafe-led comment to California’s Future of Work Commission, Jora argued that worker experience, race equity and occupational health and safety belong at the center of any new social compact.
